The world lost an extraordinary person when friend and collector Danton Burroughs recently and unexpectedly passed away at his home in Tarzana, California. The grandson of the man who wrote Tarzan, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Dan was very active in many communities, including the marble community. A nice and gentle man whom I'm proud to have called a friend, I shed many tears in saying goodbye to him.
