Peltier Sunset

Coral Reef by Touchstone Glass
Touchstone Glass is a family business located in Winona, MN. Cathy Richardson designs the work and is assisted by her son, Colin and husband, Steve. This beautiful "Coral Reef" of blue glass and golden fish was on display at the 2009 Northeast Marble Show.

Czechoslovakian "Guinea"
This unusual machine made marble made in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s or 60s is about 1 inch and a little out of round. It has a cream colored base with multicolored spots.

Unusual Rainbo
I think this is a Peltier Rainbo, though the blue, black and red combination is unusual and is not listed in any of my books. probably made in the 1930s, and measures 5/8".

Gutta Percha Marble Circa 1880s
Also known as a "paper mache" marble the Gutta Percha marble is made of the sap of the tropical percha tree, which is native to Southeast Asia. The marbles were produced in the mid 1880s in England and New Zealand. This one measures 1 13/16" and was for sale at the 2009 Las Vegas Marble Show. From the collection of Tom Rudolf.
